LG Viper 4G LTE Shutdown Sound?

I have this phone and have my Ringer Volume completely off, but, when
I shut the phone off, it makes this loud buzzing sound when it shuts
down. How do I disable this shut-off sound (it's pretty bad when you
are in a place requiring quiet).

That is one of those things that you plan ahead. If you are in a place
requiring quiet, you shut down ahead of the fact. You also don't restart it
as it will make a bootup sound.

If you want to ensure that you're not getting messages and that the phone
stays quiet, just put it in airplane mode. That will turn off the radios so
the phone doesn't receive calls or message.
