Thought I'd get a Pixie Plus for my daughter who asked for a very small
phone to replace her HTC that's falling apart. Waited in line for about
an hour at the HP store in Sunnyvale then they said "no more credit card
customers today" and I gave up. Should have brought cash. The lines were
very long and the store was not very efficient. There were people
wheeling out cartloads of Veers, presumably to resell on eBay or in
independent cellular stores.

What's the point of denying credit card customers?

They had some problem with their credit card terminal that made it very
slow. Then the only employee allowed to operate it left the store to do
something else.

Only one person was smart enough to operate it because it was slower
than normal?
